introductions

introductions are optional, but by posting one, you're making first interactions with the group much easier for everyone! if you post an introduction in mainevent within 48 hours of your acceptance and reply to comments on the post, you will receive TEN points for making the first move!

 commenting friends only posts

i can't monitor customs and it's not reasonable to hand out points for every comment made, but you can receive FIVE points for the first comment you make on another character's ic friends only post every day. if you leave twenty comments on one person's fo post in one day, you'll only receive FIVE points. however, if you leave comments for multiple people, you may receive FIVE points for each person you comment. and the following day, you can receive FIVE more points for commenting again.

 commenting updates

similar to above, for each non-custom post that you comment, you can receive FIVE points per post per day. commenting multiple posts in one day will earn FIVE more points, and commenting the same post on a new day will earn FIVE more points.

 updating early

if you update more than three days before your two week deadline, you will receive TEN points. if you update three times within a two week period, you will receive TEN points on three separate occasions. any ic post in your journal counts as an update.

 starting a community activity

the points system is all about encouraging everyone to interact, so if you decide to start a community-wide activity, therefore giving everyone a new medium in which to interact, you will receive TWENTY points. the community activity can be anything from an ic discussion post to an aim chat to an online game. if you want to start something that roadagent typically handles, just leave a note in the mod dropbox and we'll be happy to turn over the reigns!

 posting a buddy survey

every two weeks, members will receive a new buddy through the community's buddy system. you'll be given an optional survey to complete about your buddy. if you complete the survey and post it ( which already counts as an update itself ), you will receive TEN points. if you do something special for your buddy ( a post about them which takes on a new form other than the survey or includes different questions & answers, a mixtape or personalized gift which required effort ), you will also receive TEN points.

 participate in a community activity

for each community activity that you participate in, you will receive FIVE points. as mentioned above, participating in a community activity can be commenting a post in kayfabe or joining a game or aim chat.

 participate in a group scene

because writing threads requires a little more effort than simply commenting a post, you will receive TEN points for each reply you make in a group scene.
